These are the classic glacier sunglasses from Julbo, a French company that’s been making mountain eye protection for more than 125 years. The flexible hooks wrap around the ears for a secure, all-day hold, while the ventilated, removable leather side shields—a longtime staple of glacier goggles—protect from glare and help avoid snow blindness Read More

What material is the polymer bridge/temple/earpiece made of? Is it a nylon, ABS, or a vinyl material?

LlamaLionIt says "polycarbonate" on the glasses, but I don't know if it refers to the glass (which is plastic) or the frame.

Could be ordered right now on Amazon for the same $38.50 incl shipping. So Massdrop price is not good at all.

Is there a way to get something like this with the prescription built into the lense? I’m looking for a way to ski without fog but retaining my ability of sight

Anyone use these for snowblowing? I usually use normal sunglasses, my snowboarding goggles were too obtrusive since I'm not moving at high speeds.

These have been around forever. I bought a pair 20 years ago for climbing on snow/ice, and they worked well for that purpose, at a great price. When I wore them out in public, the wife said I looked like a tool. The sunglasses disappeared. I'm pretty sure she had something to do with it.

Mitch1171julbo cat 3 lenses are good for sunny hiking IME, i'd imagine for glary snow you might want cat 4, although there are others commenting that these are good for snow
