Got the black yesterday evening and wore them driving to work. Love the side shields for the winter days and low sun angle. Will post a review after a few days. Packing was great!
Yes, I'm willing to sacrifice my peripheral vision (and my ability to spot predators before they eat me) just to look cool and give strangers ninety of my dollars.
Christ, who wouldn't?!
RayFYou know the side shields are removable, right? They are supposed to be used in very specific circumstances, and maybe if you wanna look "cool" for a date (that is, make him/her think you are a nutjob). They can be removed for driving or wrestling apex predators.
That said, there are certain driving conditions that I would prefer to have the side shield... specifically, when the sun is right at "blind-me" level on the horizon and regardless of whether I have the shields in I am not going to have use of that peripheral vision. It might be better if the shields were made of the same glass and tint level of the shades themselves, but "oh, well..."
