I had a pair of these in 1983. A gift from my French relatives. I thought I was cool as heck and very new wave. Of course the redneck jocks at my high school thought it made me look like a homosexual. Even when I was with my girlfriend. Never understood that.
Why the f is anyone buying these, if you're wearing these outside of a cosplay situation..... just... smdh

In case you need to give some jabronis ocular pat downs
Bleezy
You keep on using this word "jabroni" and...it's awesome.
The hipster in my is saying yes. Yes. Do it.
And who am I to argue?
i always think of vash the stampede when I see these. 10/10 would wear if I didn't have eyeglasses.

Not Allucard from Hellsing?
Every time I see this style sunglasses pop up it makes me want to go play Fallout...
yuck
These would be great for ocular patdowns.

Damn, missed this drop so I might have to shell out $90 for my Mac Halloween costume complete with duster :)
I am not steampunke enough.
Uncomfortable without nose pads...
mike looking sexy in the pics. enough to make me want them.
I need a pair of sturdy glasses to wear in the backcountry that are Rx able. These are not them, but can anyone make a recommendation? Thanks!
jblaser
Would these be RXable?
BlueCrowned
Which ones?
These are really good for very bright conditions (think bluebird ski days). My complaint and the reason I don't wear them often is they are built for really small faces. Big guys and gals should pass.
mark.jacksonhole
yikes, completely disagree. I just sold mine because they were huge; bordering on clownish looking. I recommend don't recommend for small-to-average sized faces.
"Flexible side arms and ear hooks"
Does this mean you can uncurl the ear hooks in case they aren't long enough? I'm concerned about comfort and size...
groberts1980
No you can bend them around, but they return to to being hooked
Nice
Looks nice. I wish they were polarized.
cmagruder
Yeah, that would be dope!
How is this a deal?

I'm seeing $103 and up.
ecwright3
They bought a bunch of those and are reselling for $1 profit ;)
Wow - this is ugly.
width
How do these fit people with large heads? I'm like a 7 7/8 hat size.
Metamorphic
Same question here. I'm wondering about width and whether the ear pieces are long enough for me.
If they only were polarized ...
Yes! I want some mountaineering sunglasses. These are the ones I have wanted for months now.
I wish the time were extended :(

their back
Those are the ugliest glasses I have ever seen. You couldn't pay me to wear these things.

If they aren't your style, why come here and crap on them? Are you that desperate to spread your vitriol?
groberts1980
Isn't that what the internet is for? Are we not a part of a society building itself on social platforms of attention deficit disorderly public shaming? I mean, you're doing it right now.
Because I've always wanted to look like Boris the Animal

These are cool classic mountaineering glasses. While I'd wear them as a fashion items...may be when I'm hanging out with friends around a log fire after a day on the ski slope, I would never wear them when I'm actually climbing. Fortunately, Julbo offers more practical and modern glasses made with non-metal frames that are far more practically than these. For me, my beat-up Smith Optics wrap-around with polarized lenses are the go-to mountaineering glasses.

One nice thing about these is that the lenses are relatively flat allowing more options if replacing lenses especially with an rx including a substantial axis (astigmatism) which I have...but also different tints. More curved lenses like the ones we all prefer limit or prevent these options.
Perfect for fighting aliens in Antartica...
Very neckbeard m'lady.
I'm a professional SCUBA diver, wilderness educator and mountain guide. I had a pair of these i got from Massdrop at the beginning of the year and I was legit bummed when I lost them by a lake I had taken a group of students too... when i bought them a second-time, Massdrop gave me a $5 credit because they were over-ordered. I'm stoked next time these come around. If only they were totally polarized...
