Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. The packaging is really really well made, from the flip-over flap to the interior foam-like padding. The base itself smells like a new car, and the rubber base is really grippy. The brushed metal feeling on it is really satisfying.
I did find the metal stands to get loose easily with a gentle roll with my fingers, so I grabbed some mech keyboard o-ring dampeners to give the stands better grip as opposed to the metal-on-metal grip of the fastening mechanism.
The cable storage really added to making my desk a little more organized and aesthetically pleasing, doing a great job of storing the 3M long cable that came with the Phillips SHP3000 I got from Massdrop (Parrot Zik is shown on pic).
Overall pretty satisfied.
