Anyone recommend a nice, inexpensive board to go along with these as a DiY project? preferably a TKL board compatible with LEDs.

Slimeggs17For TKL I think it's mostly kits where you get a PCB, Plate, and case all in one package. I believe kbdfans has one. But, you'll need to solder the switches on.
If you're looking for a board where you can plug-and-play (hotswappable switches), then your options are pretty much: - Glorious PC Gaming Race's GMMK - Team Wolf CIY - Input Club x Massdrop K-Type (not that cheap)
Can't say I know too many others unfortunately

Slimeggs17you could always try buying a cheap tkl on amazon, desoldering the clone blues that all of them come with, and replacing them with these.

StuPastuI have a Team Wolf Zhuque (CIY) and its surprisingly nice for the price. I used it at work for over a year and it works great.

WHOMSTVEthey do, i actually ended up ordering a Zhuque. they fit a little snug, so be careful putting in the switches. i bent and broke about 4 of the copper prongs.

Slimeggs17recently moved from the Zhuque to the GMMK. althought the differences are mostly lighting, and housing. but i really enjoy it. but also still works with these switches. :D
