I'm sorry. What the heck is the use for this one especially for $70?!? Is this for wall street people doing day time trading and got nothing to do with their money?

pikapikaThis is for people who need a stand-alone numpad, like laptop users or people with tkl keyboards or smaller. And the fact that it has both features for a calculator and a computer number pad is usefull in general.
The thing that is really neat is that you can calculate on the calculator mode and then press the "send" button on the numpad and it will copy the answer to your computers clipboard.
Also it is programmable, so you can make your workloads / gaming more effective by using the numpad as a dedicated macro pad.
But ofcourse, if you cannot find use for any of the aforementioned features, then it is just not ment for you.
pikapikaThe Revo pad was just $150 here. Numpads are actually quite expensive normally. For what this does its actually a pretty decent deal.

SusseThanks for your reply. But I think I can save that $70 and put it somewhere else and just fire up a calculator on the actual laptop and it's for free. I don't see any convenience value added with this.

pikapikaYou don't see the value in a macro pad? Programmable layers? A stand-alone numpad/calculator? I second @Susse and @livingspeedbump here.
I crunch numbers daily at work and I absolutely loathe working with software based calculators/touchscreens!
My only complaint about this drop would be that it's limited to one color only. I don't see this strong red matching anything I got unfortunately.
controlAnother thing people have to remember is that keyboards don't scale cost wise alongside size. Making and designing a case, pcb, plate, etc, and having those produces is the expensive part. Adding size to a plate or PCB or case isn't going to add a lot of cost. That's why you find so many keyboards from 60-fullsize in the same price range. Customs of course are a different story, I just mean for mass produced boards.
