Anyone want to sell me one switch out of this deal? I only need one lol. My E key is ghosting, not registering, and double registering. Checked the solder points and they are good so the switch is jacked up.

Pardon my dumb, but to anyone intimately familiar with these switches, looking at them, I see a recess in the top that is roughly LED shaped, and on the bottom, holes that appeared to be keyed positive and negative. Does this imply that they can be modded with an LED?

I_Am_Steven3mm flangeless LED, or 2x3x4mm rectangular or 1.8mm will fit. They all have the same lead spacing.
Regular 3mm LED's have a ring (flange) around the base that makes it too big to fit in the recess in the top of the switch. If you grind it off it will fit. 2x3x4mm will fit fine, 1.8mm is an even better fit since they are short and there is very little chance of a keycap making contact with it.
Gateron switches have a slightly larger recess and 3mm LEDs with flange will fit them without removing the flange.

No complaints about the browns on my noppooo. It's been most of the year, and I use this keyboard at work daily. So far it has been able to withstand the beating.

I've got some Gateron Reds and Cherry Reds at home, and the Gaterons look and feel a lot better. They are a lot smoother, not as scratchy and the clear plastic of the gaterons looks awesome!

Maybe it was just me, but in my experience, Khail blue switches are very inconsistent. The switches on my Noppoo began to fail within a week. Some switches were sticky, some no longer clicked, others stopped registering keystrokes. I really liked my keyboard but the switches were a letdown... so I decided to change them myself. Its been over a week now since I made the switch to Gaterons and no complaints so far! The tactile/audible click is consistent across the board and smooth as butter to boot!

GasoutIt's interesting that you had this experience. I've seen this posted from one or two other people as well. Oddly enough, this reviewer I've seen says his Kailh blues were some of the best, most consistent switches he's used:

tocksicIt is possible that my Noppoo got a bad batch, I wouldnt doubt it at all to be honest. I am happy that I got it anyways, all I needed was an excuse to open it up... and it being a plate mounted board I couldnt justify desoldering the entire board to replace just a handfull of switches so I went with the next best thing and replaced them all.
Even Cherry MX switches have been known to go bad prematurely. And I admit a lot of people say MX knockoff switches are terrible just because they are made in China, but to be honest they are pretty good for what they are... especially considering they are produced in such massive numbers. You are bound to find a few lemons.

Man, I love looking at the discussion sections of drops for products with Kailh switches. It's so entertaining listening to Cherry fan boys circle-jerk one another and trash talk a switch they probably have absolutely no experience with. It's as sure as the rising of the sun, if you make a drop for Kailh products, the fan boys will come!
It's funny to me that every person I see who tries to crap on Kailh switches has only joined drops for products with Cherry switches. Unless they bought some Kailh products from other sites and have used both products, I would really question their credibility when reading anything someone writes.
PS. I have used Kailh browns and Cherry browns and found both to be great products with the Kailh switches being slightly preferred due to their heavier actuation force.

boTyThey are not. Razer contracted Kailh to manufacture the "Razer switch" specifically for their products. They share Cherry stems and similar Cherry designs but they are not the "tried and true" design that Kailh uses for their other switches; I believe that is why you see so many complaints about Razer products featuring these strange switches. They are a relatively new product, possibly rushed to meet demand of Razer products. They are likely better now, but I have heard resounding complaints of those switches whereas I have heard (and experienced) mostly positive feedback from the normal line of Kailh switches.
