I have a question regarding shipping to Vancouver, Canada. Will these ship directly from Kanto in Vancouver or will i have to pay import and duty when i receive them?
Thanks

seezi.artThe speakers will ship from Vancouver if you're in Canada. No duties to worry about. You'll also get them super quick :D

KantoLivingAlbeit with a $15 shipping charge, when shipping across the border is free. If you're bent on getting these speakers, buy them through Amazon, shipped direct from Kanto and no shipping or exchange fees.

seezi.artOr get them locally through NCIX. You can pick them up instore or have them shipped for free I think. http://www.ncix.com/detail/kanto-yu2-powered-desktop-speakers-74-103366.htm?promoid=1714

KantoLivingWouldn't you rather have local customers just buy directly through NCIX for cheaper though? Shipping would be free as well

KantoLivingThat's good! ^_^ Could you tell me anything about the Yaro 2 amp btw? I couldn't find anything on head-fi. How well does it work with headphones? since I know it's more meant for your speakers, but would it be able to drive Sennheiser HD650s? (300 ohm 103 dB sensitivity) btw I actually live really close to your company address o.o I live by the silvercity/superstore. Would I be able to buy it directly from you with the NCIX $170 CAD doorbuster pricing?

seezi.artThe YARO2's headphone amp works pretty well with headphones that are 150 ohms or less, once you get past that point it doesn't leave you with much headroom. You'll be able to get your headphones to a sufficiently loud level but it might not supply the power for loud, accurate transients. I guess what I'm trying to say is it will work but if you're going to only use the YARO2 strictly as a headphone amp you might not be totally satisfied with it. To answer the second part of your question we do not sell directly, sorry about that.

KantoLivingAh, alright thank you! Do you think you'll be releasing a dedicated headphone DAC/Amp or a portable one?

KantoLivingAh, yeah that's very true. It would be awesome to have something from a local company just 5 minutes from my house though :D
