Just got around to setting up my YU5's to my TV & PS3 and since there's not many reviews of these online I figured I'd just give some quick impressions: They come packaged well, come with most of the cables you'll need (excluding an optical cable and mono sub cable) and are rather light for how large they are. Also they look great (I opted for matte black). Hooked up to my PS3 to test audio (bear in mind no burn in time) and first impression is that they're very clear with a slightly bright sound signature. Using the remote to adjust treble and bass helps the lower end come alive. I haven't tested them that loud yet so I can't say if they distort at high volumes. The connection options on these speakers is phenomenal. I have them plugged into my TV and PS3 using optical and still have the rca and 3.5mm in if I should ever need them for anything else. Not to mention the Bluetooth which comes out crystal clear. I typically don't like Bluetooth connections for audio, however the signal comes our clean and is very convenient. In short, for the price I paid for these (~$230) I'm extremely pleased as they offer a fantastic value for your money. Highlights include variety of connectivity options, very useful remote, and overall clarity. Some things I would love to see improved for future speakers: Bit more mids... So far when watching movies some of the highs and lows drown out the vocals, however this is easily remedied with the included remote to adjust treble and bass, and a bit more of a lower end extension. Overall great pair of speakers for the price and they sound even better when paired with a sub. I'm currently using a Dayton Audio Sub 1200 and highly recommend it to bring movies to life and fill out the lower end further. Sorry for this wall of text. Hope y'all enjoy them when you get them! =)

SpookyCI just got mines too and I agree with SpookyC's impressions. The YU5 is absolutely leaning towards being bright if not a bit thin sound signature. I definitely prefer more body to the sound and personally a standalone sub-woofer would be an absolute necessity for any meaningful bass. I would have loved if the YU5 pushed its audio to do a little more but I bought it with the connectivity options and visual aesthetics in mind while hoping that it would sound decent to boot. The fact is the YU5 is actually pretty good sounding for what it is-- a relatively affordable pair of speakers with decent connectivity options. The remote does seem a little on the cheapo side, its functional but I wish Kanto could have gone better looking button layout but I'm just being nit-picky.
I also want to mention that I've have used the bluetooth feature extensively. Switching the input between my PC's aux port and my iphone6's bluetooth repeatedly over the same songs playing simultaneously from both sources. As expected there was a noticeable amount of compression going on. If you aren't paying much attention to begin with the audio compression is negligible. I also used YU5's bluetooth to watch several episodes of House of Cards on my iphone6 and sadly there were a few times where the audio did cut out with the iphone6 situated only several feet from the speakers themselves with no physical obstructions in between. I'm not sure if its a buffering issue but for the most part it worked.
Its a solid pair of bookshelf speakers with its strengths and its weaknesses. For most of us I'm pretty sure this going to be a pretty satisfying buy at the current price range but definitely nowhere near worth the msrp. I'm glad I got em and I hope you guys do too. Let me know what you guys think when you guys get yours. Thanks for reading.

Keniph+1 For definitely pairing these speakers with a sub. With my Dayton Audio Sub 1200 they sound amazing as the sound is more balanced. I'll update impressions when I have at least 50 hours on the speakers.
