Love the sound but the connection keeps dropping to standby mode when I pause the music. Quite annoying meaning I can’t connect the speakers to work with echo. Unfortunately have to get new ones :(

Sam16The speakers should go into standby within 15 minutes of not being sent an audio signal. Newer YU5s had automatic power up where they'd wake up from standby if they detected audio. Do yours turn on if you play music? Our YU4 and YU6 have improved auto power up compared to the YU5, it is much quicker and sensitive and was designed with home automation in mind. As long as you enable Alexa's startup sound it works really well. Feel free to email us directly if you feel like your speakers are not operating correctly, more than happy to troubleshoot with you.

KantoLivingHi kanto - no mine do not power up again when they detect sound. I have to reconnect via Bluetooth which is quite cumbersome. There is no way to fix this?

Sam16None of our speakers resume via Bluetooth, once the speakers go to sleep the connection is dropped.

Sam16I just have my Echo dot sitting on top of the main YU5, getting power from the USB port on the back and connected back to the speaker using the aux cable. I also have a Harmony hub to automatically switch the speakers into bluetooth mode by saying "Alexa, turn on the speakers."
