So this is my first set of Quality speakers I've bought for my computer set up. My last speakers were rather cheap Logitech 2.1 speakers at $49, but they did the trick of adding that bit of an extra boost. After a lot of research and looking at as many detailed reviews as I could, I had to buy the set especially for the price. I've had them for about a week, and the first day I tried them, I was very happy with the sound from these speakers. Set up is easy, and after listening to some classical and music with heavier bass tones, these speakers sound great even without a subwoofer. In saying that, I can understand how these would still be better with a subwoofer, as alone they may lack the extra warmth others seem to be looking for. Over all great speakers in sound quality and construction. So here's a bit of a summery for those that skip this.
Pros: -Great Mid and High Tones -Good Bass Tones -Solid, high quality construction -Kevlar woofers and matte gray finish is a great look -Remote is awesome for adjusting sound and switching from one connection to the other.
Cons: -They're Large: This could be viewed as a con, but I like the look. And it feels you're really getting what you paid for. -Bass could be improved: For those that want more of a Movie Theater rumble. Still good bass by themselves. -Connectivity distance: After about 20-25 Feet, connection with my iPhone 6S started to fade, though my set up involves direct connection or fairly close bluetooth connections, so for me this isn't an issue.
Conclusion: They were worth every penny. They sound great and look high end and have great construction. Just buy them!

Alvarez_IllustrationIf you like this, you should give Presonus Ceres 4.5BT a listen. On offer now at less than half the price of Kanto. Better bass and mids but no optical inputs.
