I got these last time they dropped for $249.99. They're my first pair of good speakers. I've been rocking the stereotypical college sony boombox speakers for the past 7 years. I absolutely love these speakers! I purchased the Sub 8 off amazon because I had some gift cards and it really fills in the low end. The yu5's were good without the sub, but the sub does make a world of difference. I listen to mostly electronic music, so that hard hitting bass really changes the music for me, but the yu5's were a huge upgrade either way.
