They are very popular for a reason. They look good, They feel right, they write well, and they have been around for ages. However, my favorite feature of these fountain pens (and other Kaweco models) is the ridiculously easy to replace nib/feed assembly. Just unscrew the old one screw-in the new one. Done.
The full range of Bock nibs is available, from extra fine to stub, to calligraphy nibs, in stainless steel or gold-plated finish. You can even get stonewashed black and solid gold versions of the nibs, albeit at a premium. The only type that's missing is Titanium.
Most nib assemblies sell in the low teens, except the black versions which sell in the 30s and the solid-gold versions which cost more than the pen and then some. Seitz-Kreuznach pretty much has the entire range, shipping free from Germany. But many of the nibs are offered by US vendors too. Oh, and the AL, AC, Liliput, Special, Stonewashed, Dia, DiaII, Student and Fantasie (but not the Sport Classic), all use the same nib assembly type. How's that for practicality?
Here's is an idea, Massdrop: next time consider offering additional nib assemblies as options.
Finally a photo of my Special and it's posse; not showing off or anything :P

TherocAre these the bock-060 nibs? Can't seem to find the bock size found in most kawecos. But I understand that they mostly employ the same nib unit between models?
