Product Description
The most popular model from a brand long synonymous with classic, high-quality fountain pens, the Kaweco Brass Sport has the compact charm of others in the Sport Series. Its solid brass body has a raw finish that will darken and develop a unique patina over time, creating a vintage, industrial feel Read More
ScalpelJunkie I own a plastic version of Kaweco Sport with a clip and it holds as if it were there since day one. Granted, the brass version will be heavier, but knowing how well this is made, I wouldn't be afraid the clip would come off. However, if the German build isn’t that impeccable, you could always give a slight bend to the clip’s octagonal ring (it’s open) so that it wraps the pen with a little more force.
ScalpelJunkieMe personally, the clip doesn't stay on very well. More often than I'd like the pocket clip would fall off of my pants and the pen would fall back into my pockets. Maybe my clip just has really poor clamp but who knows.
I want to get this pen but this isn’t a decent drop. Can find this pen for $63 on Amazon. Any chance we can get this down to $50 then it’s worth the drop.
I own one of these which I bought before I joined Massdrop, and carry it every day. The nib took a bit of adjustment (I actually replaced it with a Kaweco italic nib), and I added a pocket clip, but it is my everyday, go to, won't go out of the house without it pen. I love it. In response to a post below, I don't find the logo too big: one can barely read the fine lettering on the clip, and the medallion on the cap is very reserved. Not at all a problem.
Due to the fact that this was my first mass drop purchase I will NOT be buying again. I should of known better and checked the prices. I thought I could trust this program. Rip-off
Sorry, but this price is way above standard Amazon and Kaweco shops online. How can this be considered a good drop? IN UK you find it for around 63£ at online retailers, that's less than the 80$ plus shipment and import fees. A lot less.
