Im not sure where people are getting their numbers... while its not a HUGE steal its still better priced than other websites...
A quick look at jet pens will show that even the cheapest Broad Nib Liliput (black body) is 58 dollars.... so at roughtly 50 bucks it is cheaper by 8 dollars.

JackIt's cheaper by $6.18, once you do the actual math for the cheapest model. With Jetpens the price is $58, and that's it. The difference is that Jetpens will ship items to you within a day of ordering. Massdrop will ship your pen whenever they feel like it. You could wait six weeks or more to get it. Now maybe you don't care about waiting that long for an item, but some of us out here prefer to get things long before we forget that we ordered them.

AquariaTXFor the copper version, the final difference for me on mass drop (including shipping/tax) compared to jetpens.com is $30.38. Given that I have functional fountain pens that are serving me fine in the meantime, I'm happy to wait to save that amount of money for a luxury item.

AquariaTXThe main reason for the wait time is most of the product is coming from distributors outside of the US. Any pen products that have come from distributors outside the US will not be covered under the warranty of the US distributors. Most other pen retailers out there are qualified US retailers and their product will be covered by US warranties this is the main difference.
