I don't see how you can call this an EDC pen when it doesn't have a clip. Without a clip it's going to spend it's life at a desk, in a drawer, or in a case.

Slikwilly13Do you not have pockets? I keep most of my pens in a pocket.

TyrcraftHmmm, do I want a pen neatly clipped to the side of my pocket, protected, out of the way, so I can still use the pocket for my phone, keys or whatever, or do I want the pen lose to be huddled around other crap getting lodged sideways depending on the shape of the pocket, getting all scratched up or digging into my leg? That's a tough decision

Slikwilly13To each their own, O keep my liliput in my pocket loose, its brass, I can buff it shiny anytime I want, I'm just saying not having a clip doesn't make it a bad edc pen, just makes it not right for you. i never mind having my metal pens loose in my pockets, don't have issues personally, I wouldn't do that with my plastic ones though. Beautiful pen btw, is that a krakas customs?

TyrcraftI guess I was a little blunt in my response. I get that you could carry a pen without a clip, it just seems more convenient to have the clip to keep the pocket free and the pen protected. The shape of some pockets causes things like pens to get lodged sideways. I polish my Karas to a brand new penny shine regularly, but there's still some scratches that won't buff all the way out.

Slikwilly13I've had my eye on one of those for a while, I love metal pens, frankly my liliput is so small I never notice when it goes sideways and may very well have issues when i go to a metal pen this size. How do you like the way the Karas writes and do you have the steel or titanium nib?

TyrcraftI love my Karas. I have the full copper with steel nib. Exceptional weight and feel, writes super smooth. Have you seen the new Karas INK line? It's the Fountain K's big brother. On my wish list for sure. Here's a picture

Slikwilly13Not true. I have one and carry in my pocket or purse 24/7. Smooth EF writer with enough heft to make it feel very comfortable in the hand.
