Software is not the best...KB board is great and they have great service
This is my first real mechanical keyboard. I've had it since Nov. 2017. It's now starting to fail, but that's my fault and I have to resolder new switches on if I want to fix my disasterous spillage of sinful sierra mist and its myriad negative effects. It's loud and not fully-"suppressed" like some other mechanical kb's I've heard with my ears in real life or on YT. I like the size of it a lot and the build quality feels pretty solid. Software wasn't so intuitive and if my pc crashes or if I have to manually turn it off with the power switch, I can't restart windows properly, for some reason, if this kb is plugged into the usb. Weird! I'd probably buy it again if I had to :) And I'd recommend it to a friend for sure. Good drop.

One LED failed on arrival. Massdrop didn't want to honor exchange or refund. I know I held onto the keyboard pass the return date, but I never used it. You could do DNA testing and realize I barely touched the keyboard. Ended up reselling this keyboard at a loss.

This is a brief overview of the KBParadise V60 Type R with Matias Click switches. At the time of my purchase, as far as I know, this particular model was not available anywhere except on Massdrop. It was possible to find the Polestar version (RGB LED underglow) Type R with Matias Clicks, but not the RGB-free edition. Pros: (1) 60% form factor. Enables centering the keyboard under the monitor and leaving plenty of room for the mouse within easy reach. (2) US ANSI layout. Provides a horizontal Enter key with a 1.5-unit key directly above that can be remapped as Backspace. (3) Matias Click switches. Excellent tactility, although too loud and clattery for some. (4) Complete programmability. This is a major bonus. Every key can be remapped, and I can remap the board to my favorite layout -- HHKB. I use RCtrl as my Fn key -- I cannot do this with the Pok3r. (5) No LEDs except for a Caps Lock indicator light. I do not want or need LED underglow or backlighting. (6) Mini-USB connector. I actually prefer mini-USB. My desktop setup has a mini-USB cable in place for switching keyboards, and many of them have mini-USB connectors. (7) Costar-type wire stabilizers. Despite the fact that wire stabilizers are less convenient for changing keycaps on stabilized keys, I prefer them to Cherry-style stabilizers, which sometimes feel mushy. Cons: (1) Matias Click switches are loud! This works okay for me, as I am usually not typing within earshot of others, but some people might find these switches too loud. (2) The stock ABS keycaps are unattractive. The "vintage" color scheme is not pleasant to my eye, and the legends are too small. However, I usually swap out the stock keycaps on my keyboards anyway. I will probably go with doubleshot ABS or dye-sublimated PBT alpha keys with blank black ABS modifiers from Matias. (3) The fit of the keycaps to the switch stems is extremely tight, making it difficult to remove the stock keycaps without concern about possibly damaging the switches. (4) Programming instructions are not included. The included leaflet manual refers the customer to the KBP Facebook page, which has a link to the programming manual. This is somewhat inconvenient, and it would be nice to have the programming manual included in the box. The instructions are also a bit confusing -- in particular, it would be good if they included more detail about which driver to install for the USB interface. Nevertheless, I was up an running with my HHKB layout within a few minutes. Conclusions: The KBP V60 Type R with Matias Click switches provides a refreshing change from Cherry mx switches in a compact form factor keyboard that is completely programmable. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The rating could be higher by including better keycaps and a clarified programming manual. EDIT: After changing the keycaps and putting the board into a TEX aluminum case, I like the keyboard even more than before. It now has dye-sublimated PBT alphanumeric keycaps from an IBM 5140 "portable" computer. The modifiers and spacebar are blank black ABS from Matias, and for a bit of color accent, I've installed red doubleshot keycaps on the Esc and RCtril keys. I have remapped the keyboard to a HHKB layout with RCtrl as my Fn key. The sound is not the greatest in the aluminum case -- to get good sound from Alps-type switches, you need a large hollow chassis to act as a resonating chamber. However, the typing feel is great. It appears that the KBP V60 with Matias switches and the non-Polestar version is still available only through Massdrop. If it were possible to give 4.5 stars, this would be my revised rating.

Bought it for a travel board, then my main board at home went out, now using it full time. I love it, looks slick, quality build.

Came in on time and in perfect condition. Absolutely love this board. The options and look on the 60 are great. I have some transparent black top keycaps on it and it looks flawless. Paired it with a transparent numpad and it the duo look incredible, a staple on my desk at home. Cant recommend enough.
