I absolutely love the concept but I'm surprised by the pricing... Which of these components is driving the cost up?

EKChensAgreed, my guess is the the Wera tools are responsible for the price. They're quality though, I've never been unhappy with their products.

NJG613If you're looking for just the Torx drivers, Wiha tools makes good stuff that's not quite as pricey. Bondhus isn't a bad budget-friendly option either.
As far as a full kit like this, specifically for knife maintenance, I don't know of anything comparable.
