H2's are the BEST big river sandals. Pain in the ass if you get a pebble underfoot and its trapped, and they stink pretty bad after wetting/drying, but for the most part these are outstanding and highly recommended. Still have my first pair from 10+ years ago.

tipsymcstaggersI have a 6 year old pair that I have worn probably more than most people have. They are super durable, but that pebble though.

tipsymcstaggersOne tip that worked with mine... if they do get to stankin'.... after washing/scrubbing them, but them in a plastic bag, and put them in the freezer to kill whatever might be left. I've done this 2x with mine, and it seems to last a very, very long time.
