Product Description
Made of strong, lightweight titanium, the Keith Ti3209 single-wall mug is great for camping, backpacking, hiking, and more. It features handles that fold back to save space in your pack and a well-fitting lid whose steam/drain holes make it easy to cook a variety of foods Read More
I've got this mug in one of the drops and only just recently got to first use it, and just wanted to share that I'm pretty disappointed that the handles are not isolated - there's no option to hold the mug right after cooking/water heating and you'll either have to find some isolating stuff to grab the handles with or wait a bit for it to cool down. Other than that, I think it's a great price for a TI mug of that volume, and yes, it can nest a 220g canister inside it (I have a Kovea's and it fits perfectly)
vmvmvmthat's wrong. anodized aluminum is heavier. a 900mL aluminum pot and lid is generally 6-8oz. it might be more durable though. lightweight titanium is not particularly sturdy. aluminum will distribute heat somewhat better also...
vmvmvmNo, as Secondmouse said, anodized AL is heavier; it distributes heat more evenly and may cost less so it's worth considering.
Here's a sheet showing the volume-weight-price tradeoffs for different pots: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultralight/comments/6e0ozn/lightweight_pot_comparison_sheet_and/
Looking at the ranker, at the Massdrop price, the Keith pot comes out right up there with the best unless you either don't care about weight (in which case get an AL pot) or are willing to pay over $20 to save half an ounce (in which case get an Evernew or Toaks Light pot).
I got this pot the last time it was dropped and am fairly happy with it. Do wish it had graduation markings though.
I grabbed this pot in the last drop. I love it. Shaved some weight from my pack, it's big enough to cook for two people, or if you are like me it's about perfect for food and a cup of tea.
This pot feels solid, it isn't super thin and flimsy looking. I have buddies with the other more mainstream titanium pot brands and Keith is on par or better.
It is a good price too. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
WCT2017Unfortunately no. The group buying game takes time. Do NOT expect to get items early, it does happen but you can't count on it. I normally expect to get my purchase within a week or so of the expected ship date.
PoonguyNo it doesn't, but it is pretty easy to eyeball water in it. Hell for the food you cook with this pot accuracy isn't huge. Just don't overestimate by too much! :)

Not too tall and skinny. (Catches more heat from the burner making it more efficient?)
Not too short and wide. (Liquids don't swash out so easily when used as a mug.)
Looks like a rolled lip so won't burn lips quite as easily.
900mL is the good size for my personal wants/needs.
Looks like it would fit my hand when using as a bowl.
Comes with a proper (for my needs) lid.
Price is right.
Just bought a Snow Peak 900 (and 3rd party lid) though, so will resist for now. Of course, in the long run... "Resistance is Futile".
Ha, ha.
I was hoping for a double walled titanium mug. But then I though, doubled walled insulated mug probably not so good for cooking!
This looks pretty decent for the price.
tylermarlowAs said, if the dimensions written here are accurate, it should be a tight fit. Just measured my Kovea 230g cannister, it has a 11cm diameter (the mug is 11.5) & a 9.6 cm height (mug is 9.8). That said, if it won't fit by diameter it would be a problem, but even if it won't fully close (i.e. no height fit) you still have the mesh for holding the lid and mug close together
tylermarlowJust received my pot.
A 230g kovea canister fits nicely by diameter, and is a bit taller than the pot (it can't close with the canister inside).
Hope this helps :)
Will the Keith Ti6300 multifunctional cooker fit into this Keith Ti3209 mug (similar to the Evernew stacking set in the picture below) or will the Ti6300's multifunctional cooker's handles restrict it from stacking ontop?
