Made of strong, lightweight titanium, the Keith Ti3306 double-wall mug is great for camping, backpacking, hiking, picnicking, and using at home, school, or the office. You can even include it in your emergency prep kit Read More
Glad to see you guys added Keith to the drops. If there's any chance of a vendor collaboration for something like a 375ml or 400ml double wall with a nice lid like this, I'd be all over it. Prefer no handles, but either way. Currently there doesn't seem to be a mug that size on the market in double wall.
ClintBThey still do, and 450 is available from everyone. That gap between 300 and 450 is a nice place but seems like you can only find single wall there.
McCrayThe 450 from snow peak does not fit the 450 from Keith (from experience). It appears that Snow Peak is slightly shorter and wider with the Keith being slightly taller and thinner. Not sure if that will be the same with the 600 or no.
Also, for anyone who doesn't know yet, you cannot heat a double walled cup on a stove or it will get damaged and might explode (from the air inside expanding).
That said, the insulation is much, much better than single wall; you can pour boiling water in it while holding it by the "body" and won't get burned (unless you spill some - use the handle just in case)
I wonder how it compares to the Snow Peak double-wall.
First, this one has no handles, but for me who generally holds cups by the body, no rattling is a plus.
Also, Snow Peak doesn't offer a lid for their 600ml cup, only the 450ml (my current one), and it doesn't open/close like this one. Plus, you have to purchase it separately.
I presume there is no vacuum between the walls of this one either. I really hope to see one with a vacuum insulation someday.
Looks like a good contender by Keith regardless. Had I not bought the Snow Peak already, I might have opted for this one.
