A full-featured frameless daypack from Kelty, the 28-liter Ruckus is roomy enough for winter hikes and traveling, with a minimalist design that makes it great for summer overnights, too. The roll-top closure gives you flexibility with volume when you need it, and compression when you don’t. Weighing in at 23 ounces, the Ruckus has a comfortable carrying limit of about 20 pounds.

Lightweight and budget-friendly, the Ruckus has a front shove-it pocket for your jacket and other layers, plus a zippered accessory pocket with microfleece lining to protect your smartphone screen. Along with hip-belt pockets and dual loops for trekking pole or ice ax attachments, the pack has a pair of stretch water bottle pockets with an externally accessible hydration sleeve. No matter where the trail takes you, the breathable HDPE and AirMesh back panel will keep you comfortable.
