Great tent. I have been camping for some time and really have no complaints about this tent, especially for the price. Sure, it can be heavy (~6-7 lbs for 3P) for backpacking, but worst case (if this is all you have), you can split the tent load between 2+ people. Even then everyone knows this is a car camping tent. Dual vestibules, highly adjustable rainfly, and has withstood all rain that has been thrown at it so far with zero problems. Like another reviewer said below, I too was at an event that had a monstrous thunderstorm pass through and in the morning there was a lot of damaged cheap tents, but this one was A-okay. Really can't go wrong here if you're looking for something not too heavy, not too light, not too big, not too small :)

treal512I have to second (or third?) your opinion. I've had this tent for a while now and it kept me and all my gear dry & happy during a weekend of basically nonstop, torrential rain and high winds. I've had enough tents in my life to know quality construction when I see it, and the Kelty Trail Ridge certainly holds up!
Full disclosure- i've only ever used this particular tent on car camping trips, so weight was no concern of mine. It's obviously not a super light setup, but if you plan on hiking with it definitely split up the load.
I really love the ease of set up, clear markings, and ability to quickly roll part of the fly up to enjoy the view. 100% recommend!
