I own this particular bag and while I certainly wouldn't call it ultralight it is one of the better synthetic options when you take cost, weight and build into account. As Danny indicated not everyone needs/wants a $300 down bag for colder weather.

ElectronicVicesI own it as well, and it will not keep me warm in my DD underblanket past about 35 degrees. I'm very happy with the bag other than that though, and that might be a problem with my suspension, not the bag.

SmrtzSince this is still on the front page of comments (despite 1+ years later) and I missed this reply I would like to point out two things: 1) This is EN Lower Limit rated so that means "warm sleeping male comfort" or "survival rating for all" and everyone is different 2) The DD underblanket is more than likely the limiting factor in this scenario. I fall in the warm sleeper side and have taken this thing well down into 20-25 range but that was in a ground dweller scenario.
Bonus frame of reference: I use a 0 degree underquilt and top quilt for hammock hanging below 40 degrees and adjust positioning for comfort.

ElectronicVicesAgreed on the DD underblanket being the bottleneck. I use the bag for tent camping on occasion depending on who I'm with and have had good success with it.
