Though I decided to not opt for the 2-Step, I couldn't resist Kemner's M2S a couple of weeks ago. This Copper / Stainless is more beautiful than I expected.

What a little beast of a top!! 1st spin on a concave lens got my record for any of my tops of 10:21, but it seems the harder you try the worse you go, so last night did a walk by spin, no real effort or intention and thing tops out at 11:06.. Pretty Stoked.. Now waiting form my Lambda ruby........ getting frothy ; )

sabzzI would say probably not. The sleeve says for 1" diameter tops. These are 1.190" diameter tops.

DaveKHow much clearance is there between the bottom edge of the top and the spin surface? When a top processes it leans and will wipe out sooner the narrower this clearance is.

plexusThere is right about .135" from the tip of the ball to the edge. With a good spin you won't have that problem they usually spin right up until they fall over.

I've always wanted a nice top, and this one seems like just cheap enough for me to dip my toes in the water... Does anybody own this top? Can you say how you like it, and how it compares to other tops around this price range?

SephHaleyI own a 2 step in copper over stainless steel. Great entry top. Its dead smooth at launch and regularly gets 8 to 10 min for me. Ive even had a few standing stops with it.
