ilcg1I remember this same conversation on the last Kennerton drop. I think it's fine to use your purchasing power to hold companies accountable, but Russian government does not mean Russian people. I spent a couple weeks in St. Petersburg (where these headphones are built, according to the description). The people I stayed with (and many others like them) are far from supportive of the Russian government, but they don't have the numbers or political power to do much. Did you see the protests in the streets throughout Russia a week or two back? Probably not, because the media in Russia is state controlled/censored. I don't know what Kennerton's political leanings are as a company, but just wanted to let you know it isn't a black & white "Russia bad" thing.

Regarding Russian "protests". This is just a joke. Over 140 mln country and there were few thousands of protestors?
Regarding black and white. They don't support government etc. Every poll (even made by foreign agencies) shows Putin's support of over 80% population. Fabricated? I don't think so.
When people say not all Russians are the same, I agree - I have some Russian "sane" friends, but they are in a such minority that can be considered a statistical error in the polls.
"Don't bring politics to every day life". Sure, let's just be blind, silent and deaf to all world issues and talk audiophile mumbo-jumbo and stuff.
