I've own a number of these cans. The original dark wood cups, current light woods cups, the limited edition & I grabbed one of these AE. Apart from the AE all the other 3 sound different.

MusicLoverI don't think I would say I prefer these over the original FA-011 O. They are both very different.
The AE aren't bass heavy like the O, they are much more refined in bass mids and treble.
Clarity and micro detail is the stand out compare to the O.

Mach3Thank you. I waited again. They look great but when I heard they were similar to some of the headphones that I already had I decided to wait. So many Quality Headphones out now and money is tight so I am gonna be very selective on my next purchase.
