I'd take the highly raved Sennheiser 6XX for $200 over this overpriced russian crap anyday. 2K for headphones? RIDICULOUS. Sennheiser > Kennerton anyday, anytime, anywhere.

KamenramenSo have you heard these or is it just 2k headphones that offend you? Maybe it's just headphones over $200. How do you know it's crap?
The HD6xx is a nice headphone for the price, but we don't all "rave" about them. For those of us who enjoy extended bass response, that planar are known for, find the HD6XX/600 line quite lacking in that regard.
I have about 12 different headphone including the HD6xx and HD600, some costing a little more some a little less. I prefer most (if not all of them) to the Sennheisers.
I don't know for sure, but I would very likely prefer the Odin to them also.
But I understand where you coming from, I think spending over 40k on a car is ridiculous! Everyone should just get a Honda Civic that people rave about, because it's what I can afford.

RojasTKDSure if you want to blow $2K on a set of headphones, go ahead. That's your prerogative. Let the rich waste and not want. However, sound quality, build, technology and comfort; Sennheiser beats Kennerton ANYDAY. And yes, I'd take a Honda Civic over a overpriced SUV anyday.

KamenramenI wore sweatpants outside. They were comfortable. I didn't get arrested for being naked. They were a fraction of the cost of Levi's jeans. Jeans are crap. Sweatpants are all anyone ever needs. EVER.

KamenramenI agree with you, HD6xx will beat everything everywhere everyday everyone all the time. No fancy headphones should exist...especially from Russia, especially from a really good engineering teams, they should not make a profit on us - people loving music, they should pay us to buy their overpriced crap....We should not try and never audition these beasts. And there should be no options on the market, like in sweet USSR days. Just couple of options to choose from, one of them is HD6xx and second is cheap $50 HPs. Rock & Roll!

KamenramenI am glad that majority of Massdrop community are smart people, look how many orders for 6XX - almost 43,000. Let some salivate over nonsense brands:) By the way Focal also thinks good looks is substitute for a good sound. I listened Focal Utopia and was shocked how badly they sounded especially considering their price. Anyway as classic wrote “Sand ain't a palatable substitute for oats.”

Thank God we have you to tell us what we should like. Otherwise we might foolishly use our own opinions and taste to decide for ourselves.
I should burn all those headphone I enjoy more than the HD6xx so I'm no longer tempted to enjoy them.
Maybe you can also give me a list of other things (cars, cereal, toilet paper) I should buy or I might choose something you disprove of.

How is me saying he's dumb based on this discussion something you have a problem with? If need be I'll apologise for having hurt his feelings later on, though I'm sure he won't reply, I just don't think he's a damsel in distress that needs your help.
PS: I hate to condescending but there's no physical space between the last word of a sentence and the question mark (and/or other punctuation), there's no sensical explanation for why that'd ever be the case. I'm really not sure why people do this, I'd love to figure it out one day. Either way, I digress.

tbjsSorry you misunderstood me, Kennerton is neither Corvette nor Lamborghini, it is just a pretentious nonsense, something like Zepter. People buy it because they think - it is expensive, it must be good. It is old tricky marketing strategy. Some people are susceptible to it, some are not. My point is unless you have unlimited cash to burn, please do yourself a favor, listen to them first and make decision later.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?

I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
