Word of warning for those with the brushed one, it's very rough on the inside of the tie bar, it might snag on very fine silk.

boris_hoYes, you have to rework it, at least in the inside. Different techniques possible, an easy one is with a metal file. Even with a nail file yet it will blunt the file. I heard 2-3 years ago the Kent Wang brushed silver tie clips were not like this.
IMO it could be vastly better finished, with rounded edges for example, and cheaper. But silver is easy for cold work, even sterling, especially on surface.

Brushed one isn't brushed, it's more like unpolished. I had to rework it myself. Also I had to polish the inside and the border in order to put it smoothly around the tie with no scratch. Moreover, it is very white for a sterling, I will have to wait for oxidisation. Kent Wang changed their brushed tie clip, before it was really brushed and nicer. By the way, it is not written where it is made. I guess it is China.
Overall it does the job it is supposed to do yet I am not very satisfied by this product.
