I picked up a purple one from a competitor. The cost was $12.95. I ordered sufficient things to have free shipping. I gave my old purple one this morning to a friend that had admired it a while back. Jonas. I can't imagine you or anyone having this is the kitchen to do useful things. If you need this to do useful things, then you need to look at purchasing some decent kitchen knives. If I remember correctly, I have seen kitchen knives offered here. Buy some of your own stuff. I expect that you would get a discount over and above what any of us Droppers could dream of.

I think the perfect description of this knife would be "just fine". It isn't all that sharp out of the box. It isn't the smoothest thing to open. The bottle opener doesn't work that well and has a tendency to dig into your hand when clipped in a right hand front pocket (making it necessary to relocate the clip). It isn't really big enough to do anything other than open boxes. But if you need a beater knife or something you don't care about losing, this will probably fit the bill.

Skip this one if you plan on moving the pocket clip. Screws are the cheapest they could find and strip easily!

I am so tempted to get this drop but the last time I got a Shuffle from here it came apart and I am still unable to get the correct screws for it. Massdrop did not provide very much help so I would caution research beforehand.

Would that sharp nib from the bottle opener dig into your palm when you apply downwards pressure?

TransposeI haven't noticed any biting when using the knife, however when it is clipped in your pocket and the clip is positioned so the bottle opener edge is on the inside of your pocket, then yes it will dig into your hand. It hurts and is annoying. So, if you plan to clip it in a front, right hand pocket, relocate the clip to the other side.

The blade on this doesn't look useful for most of the "EDC" stuff I do with my knife, but dammit, this is still really tempting!

I bought the shuffle on the last drop. Terrible knife, terrible chinesium metal, stiff opening, hard to close, and the profile of the blade makes it hard to cut anything that’s not a box.
