I bought mine last time this drop was available. I've got a bit of an obsession with Blurs, and own this, the green tanto, the blue handled blackwash, and a pair of standard unserrated black Blurs. I love em all. Although i will say, I think this particular one had the best factory edge yet. It was, and still is, sharp enough to shave with.

Great news! The group’s order was picked up from the vendor and is now on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Given the tracking information provided, our warehouse team expects the shipment to come in by 10/8 and will be ready to get the order repacked and off to you as soon as it comes in.
Occasionally the shipment experiences a delay en route, but rest assured that we will keep the group updated throughout the entire process and let you know if something causes it to be set back.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/9 or earlier if anything comes up.

Why doesn't Massdrop have a site dedicated to Canada? we get hosed on deals for knives and other products, and the shipping cost are ridiculous. Frustrated Canadian member. I have been a member over a month but have yet to purchase, I go to purchase and its either only available in the U.S.; or the shipping cost to Canada is extremely high..

I'm a firefighter and I've carried this knife for several years. Best knife I've ever owned. It has just the right heft and very fast to open. The serrated blade is perfect for quickly cutting seat belts. Kershaw has a lifetime warranty.. I lost the big retaining nut by the blade and contacted them for a replacement. Not only did they send the new part but they included the hex tool to install it. Mine is really beat up now from all the use. I bought another one to replace my original. And will pass the old one on to the grandkids when their old enough. Kershaw are the best knifes!

Everybody's on about the blackwashed thing, I'm just thoroughly happy to get a good EDC to take to work with me in a color I like. Cheers.

I have this on (with the satin blade) and it has served me well for over a decade. This is one of the few serrated blades I like because the serrations are in the right place (on the recurve) and just the right length to be useful without getting in the way. I chose red for the same reason I carry a Rainbow Leek; it doesn't scream 'tacticool' and won't scare the sheep. It looks like just another tool.
I would love a black wash blade with a purple handle, maybe even a vorpal blade in one of those magic steels like S30V.

I saw Blur then red and blackwash and my heart skipped a beat only to have my dreams crushed moments later. I'm not sure where that rates beside them making my favorite design with a harpoon grind and then sending them all to Russia. Disappointed for sure.

Fate.OneI'm sad too. I have a 1670RDBLKST, but one with a blackwash, non-serrated blade would be awesome.

I too was duped by the email! Only logical thing to do now is order a blackwash red one for the next drop!
You guys are correct, the blade is DLC coated black, not backwashed. I've removed those references. To be clear this is model 1670RDBLKST and is only available with a partially serrated blade.
