Subtle Flipper With Ti-Nitride Blade Coating
This no-frills folder from Kershaw has qualities of both a tactical knife and a gentleman’s knife. The overall aesthetic is subdued: The blade is covered with titanium nitride coating for a dark look that pairs well with the black G-10 handle scales. Shaped with a drop-point, the blade is useful when slicing, piercing, and more. If it gets dull, it’s easy to sharpen thanks to the 8Cr13MoV stainless steel construction. Outfitted with a flipper tab, the knife opens smoothly with little effort. The backside of the handle is recessed to fit the pocket clip, making the profile of the knife even slimmer. It’s held together with a glass-filled nylon backspacer with jimping for extra grip security.
