I actually got this knife as a Christmas gift last year. The blade is impressively sharp and makes an authoritative snapping sound when it comes out. The thumb studs on each side are too high up to get much leverage, but the tab is easily pushed with a forefinger, making the blade flick out smoothly.
The tension on the belt/pocket clip was very high. Part of the clip is flush against the housing and doesn't move much, so I had to take a minute bending it to create the one or two millimeters needed for smooth pocket withdrawal and insertion. I've included a photo of the end result as visual aid.
And I agree, the overall weight is high. I actually prefer the heft, but YMMV.
