I just picked up a kershaw launch 2 auto from bladehq for the same price. Anodized bronze Aluminum body 3.4" blade cpm154 stonewash finish and about 3.5 ounces and American made! An amazing value if you ask me! Theres 6 or 7 different versions and several different color configurations ranging from $65 to about $100 for those not familar with the Kershaw automatics. Ill pass on the damascus assisted link.... While its good looking you can find the skyline damascus for about $60 all day on ebay if you really want a kershaw damascus folder. I already have a couple damascus fixed blade knife kits to hold me over for now but ill probably go w the skyline when i want a damascus folder.

CdoyleI'm looking at a Kershaw Launch 3 for $89.00. CPM-154. I have the Launch 7 and it stays seriously sharp. I hadn't connected the dots from here to the Launch, so thank you, Cdoyle. The Launch is certainly the better product.

14themoneyYw. The launch seems like a pretty fantastic value and it's got the powdered metal version of cpm 154 over the regular 154cm which is a nice steel. I was also looking at the Kershaw bareknuckle which just finally came out but is already out of stock at bhq. I want to say 3 1/2 inch blade, aluminum body and 3.5 ounces or so and America made although it only has the Sandvik steel and while its fine its no cpm154. I do think the bareknuckle is one of the best knifes kershaw has come out w in 2018 design wise but Being around $70 its kinda pricey for what it is and eyeing the launch series for a while i decided on the launch 2 as its a much better value. I will probably end up picking up a bareknuckle later on anyway as I do like it. From the reviews on the launch series model comparisons I've watched the 2 is the most pocket friendly which is what I was after althou some of the other models are more ergonomic and probably a little more practical for some things but for my uses the 2 will fit the bill just fine. Love me some autos and I am pretty excited to recieve it. This will be my 6th auto. Also The boker autos like the AK-47s are hard to beat values too And the boker strike is pretty nice as well both w pretty good ergos and actions and coming in at around only $40 Blade HQ will put the AK-47 on sale several times a year for 30 bucks which is a absolute steal for a budget auto but I already have four versions of that including the D2 exclusive from bladeops and the 70th Anniversary CTS XHP version from bhq. Bladeops also offers an s30v version. An $80 Kershaw has lots of competition so it better be pretty damn impressive for me to buy it.

CdoyleI have not held any of the Launches in my hand except for my 7. I was thinking about the 2 myself, but then I realized that there was very little between my fingers and the blade. http://kershawguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/launch-2a.png
