Designed in collaboration with knifemaker Todd Rexford, the Kershaw Entropy—which means lack of order and predictability—is anything but unstable. It features a 3.25-inch drop-point blade with a straight belly, making this folder an excellent choice for piercing tasks without sacrificing strength for slicing. The 8Cr13MoV blade’s stonewash finish helps hide scratches acquired from particularly taxing jobs, too. To deploy the blade simply press on the built-in flipper tab and it rapidly flicks into the open position. A liner lock holds it in place once opened.
Note: Shipping for Kershaw products is limited to US addresses only.
If there’s any hint of entropy in this folder, it’s in the handle. Tucked into the base of its glass-filled nylon handle are two orange barrel spacers—easy to miss at first glance—for added flair. The handle features raised horizontal lines and and textured dimples for a secure grip during tough cuts. It also comes with a pocket clip for deep tip-up carry on either side.
