Drop informs that there will be an additional 30 days added to the ship date; amateurish and unprofessional practice; this was not volunteered by Drop, I had to chase it down via their customer service team, which was uninformed.
Drop has, essentially, engaged me without my permission and against my will, in forced fiscal intercourse. Customer service rep, Crystal, was pleasant to deal with, but company, not so much!
Now 5 days after anticipated ship date, and no product, no additional info from Drop or Kershaw regarding when I will receive my units. I have reached out to both.
Pretty sad about the new kershaw policy of not shipping out of USA I have several of their knives purchased from drop in the past and they are great value - very sad I can no longer purchase any of this brand as I am outside usa :(
EdAishOrdering option allow address outside us and matching shipping costs.
I have seen other products not available outside us and their shipping option was clearly disabled for my country.
Well.. it would be interesting to get a clear point from drop.com about this case
Makin' bacon! I have this knife and I like it. It doesn't seem to hold an edge as well as my Manix 2 with S90V, but I have been known to sharpen a knife or two. I don't have any regrets. Except when I think of the totality of my nickel and dime Kershaw purchases, I probably could have gotten a Sebenza. I'm not sure that I want one. That is, I'm not sure I want to buy one. I would be happy to have one.
My go to EDC knife, I carry mostly for self defense. Fast and addicting speedsafe, it always has a good snap even after doing it for little over a year. I have never sharpened this since receiving it and edge retention is really good. My tip is a little bent but from negligence but not quality, I thought the tip would of broke off but seems the tempered spine is holding up toward the tip. The design is very aggressive and the handle designed for me feels really good for holding the blade downward or upward. If this was to be improved I would only ask for better clip retention and overall lighter weight. Buy it you wont regret it.
Erik11Well that clearly doesn't apply to those that live in one of those states. Perhaps move to Texas where you can carry a gun, broad sword, table leg, or just about anything else you want to defend yourself. Lol
Texas! The F#ck your attacker up state!
Does anyone know about the liner lock not functioning properly? I've yet to handle the knife myself, but my friend claims and demonstrates the lock malfunctioning.
