Reliable Black Oxide–Coated Blade
Rugged, quick to deploy, and fit for any type of work, the Faultline is a toss-around, take-anywhere folder that you won’t worry about roughing up a bit. The highlight of the knife is its black oxide–coated blade made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Done in an aggressive clip-point style with texture all over the spine, it allows you to sit back on the blade for tough cuts, or to put a thumb on the spine for jobs that require more concentration. A liner lock holds the blade in place when open. To deploy it? A flipper tab and the KVT ball-bearing opening system to facilitate a smooth cycle from closed to open. GFN makes up the handle, which has a rubberized overmold for extra grip. It’s not a bad color complement to the olive drab color surrounding it, either.
