I assumed the same, Kerahaw used to be notirious for soft blades. Thats not bad it just means regular maintenance To keep sharp. I recieved one as a guft a few years back and they have really stepped up their game. Yes this is available at Walmart but so are a lot of great products. I also noted a stud at the front I assume it is for smashing a window during a rescue if blade is retracted, not in details on page. Tempting gift idea here!
