Can't recommend buying this knife at all. Kershaw knives are not really quality, from my experience. I've got a couple of these, one EMT and one non-EMT model, bought before I realized that they're not great. The lifetime warranty is craptastic, I had one brand-new one fall apart (the clip fell off of the non-EMT model of this same knife) and almost take a finger off. I gave up after two tries got me the wrong parts delivered with no explanation and no indication they actually read my email or cared at all, really.
$29.99 is also an insane price. This knife regularly shows up on discount sites for $10-12. If you're really hot on getting this shrugworthy piece of meh, just shop around and wait a bit.
