Clay.MartinNot true. It still hasn't come to market due to issues in production. At Blade Show West a few weeks ago Kershaw still didn't have a solid release date. They said HOPEFULLY first quarter 2019.
The production "issue" is that the copper is getting a patina in the process, and they don't want it to go out to customers with a patina on it already. Allegedly.

glennacKershaw has been having issues getting the finish perfect. They want the finish to protect the copper enough so that it doesn't patina/tarnish during shipment or while it's sitting on the shelves, but still light enough to end up with a nice patina with use.
They should be on shelves within the month according to the rep at BLADE Show West.
