OK. This is for the blackwash version. I was wondering where all the comments had disappeared to. But they are on the page for the stonewashed blade.
The picture at the very top shows the stonewashed blade, so I thought it was the same.
Elmax steel has really grown on me. I like it much more than the standard Sandvik steel Kershaw uses in their knives. I like Elmax a little more.than S30V even.
I usually prefer blades in the blackwash. For example, I have a Blur in Elmax, and I think it looks better in blackwash. But for some reason I like this Elmax Leek I. stonewashed better. Maybe because the knife is smaller, and the cleaner look of stonewash makes the whole knife look simpler and sleeker. It really a matter of taste.
I haven't received the Elmax Leeks from the last drop yet, but expect them to be great. I love my regular Leeks and expect the Elmax version to be even nicer.
