An everyday beater you won’t mind getting a little messy, the Kershaw Lifter can take a beating without showing it. With its worn-in blackwashed finish, it looks rugged. And measuring nearly 8 inches long and weighing 5.7 ounces, it’s built burly, too. The blade, done in an aggressive tanto shape, is made from 3Cr13 steel. The shape lends itself to piercing and cutting rope and twine. Made from stainless steel with a matching finish, the handle has horizontal grooves for added grip and a touch of style. Backed by Kershaw’s patented SpeedSafe assisted opening system, the blade deploys wicked fast with a press on the flipper. Rounding out the knife is a deep-carry pocket clip.
