The Kershaw Pub is an item that's well worth buying. I bought the original a Black coloured version at first & was shocked at just how sharp the blade was & also how handy it is being able to hang in on my keyring with my house & car keys.
After several weeks of fairly heavy usage, the blade is still very sharp & I find that I'm using it more & more. Due to the non locking blade & blade length, this item is legal to carry & use in the UK.
Recently I've also purchased the Blue colour version & the Carbon Fibre version. The Blue colour looks the best in my opinion. The Carbon Fibre version was quite disappointing. The Carbon Fibre finish didn't come out too well & it's certainly not worth paying extra for.
This is one knife that's both handy & useful to have on you. It's very reasonably priced & it's something that you'll wish you bought more than one of.

nrlewis1982I really like this thing. My worry is that if it's attached to a keychain and you open the blade, don't your keys get caught, thus not allowing the blade to fully deploy? Also, when it's closed and you're jangling your keys around will it come undone? Or is the lock/detent strong enough for that not to happen?

ZcityUpThe way I use it is to open it slightly, remove from my keyring & then the blade opens fully without any problem & you can do whatever you need to do with the knife. When finished, start to close the the knife slightly then hook back into the keyring & fully close the blade.
This may sound slightly long winded but it takes seconds to actually do this. I think that it's very well designed as with it attached to your keyring, its physically impossible to fully deploy the knife so you can't injure yourself.
The knife blade doesn't lock when fully deployed but it's stiff enough not to close when your using it. Once the blade is fully closed, it's a similar story. It takes a bit of force to open/close it so it's very safe to use. I've dropped mine on the floor a few times with the blade open & when it hits the floor, the knife blade stays in exactly the same position as when I dropped it.
I've been using my Kershaw Pub this way for several weeks now. I don't find it to be a problem to add/remove it from my keyring. The whole thing is so small that its shorter that the majority of my keys. I hope this helps.

ZcityUpYou'll probably find this video review of the Kershaw Pub to be worth watching as it shows the reviewer adding & removing an item to the hook so you'll see exactly what I was talking about.

nrlewis1982This looks like a great little clip/utility knife. So long as it doesn't draw blood with the bottle opener, like the Shuffle. That knife will give you tetanus/lockjaw. Just saying.
Like that blade shape. Very useful--not too stabby.
