KAPS1M0I got mine last week and am very happy as I have been with all of my previous kershaws. I think you may have got a dud unit as the previous 3 kershaws and the 2 shuffles I got on this drop have all come so sharp out of the box that they easily remove the hairs off my arm.
The rest of your review I totally agree with, the knife fits very well in my rather large hands.

team_milanIndeed I may. I guess I'll have to re-evaluate how sharp Kershaws generally are when I expand my sample size, that is, when I join another Kershaw Shuffle drop, preferably in Lime, White or All-Black (come on Massdrop, bring us that sweet deal).

KAPS1M0One of the cool things about kershaw is you can send knives to them to be sharpened for free (http://kershaw.kaiusaltd.com/warranty). I typically sharpen my own knives (unless they're serrated or tanto because those take a lot more work to sharpen properly). But my functional test is to see if a knife will cut thread easily because that's probably the most delicate thing that I cut day-to-day. My knives usually can cut paper cleanly, but in reality that's not something you really need. Any paper cutting I do with pocket knives usually has the paper backed up against other paper or some scrap wood or something. Some kind of support anyway. This makes it a lot easier to cut.
One thing to note: Do NOT get one of those pull-through sharpeners to try to touch up your blade. Those things will wreck the edge. It will seems sharp for a short time but dull very quickly. If you want to sharpen it yourself, get a stone and learn to use it. I'm lazy and use the lansky sharpening system which requires less skill than a stone but costs a bit more.

I received mine -from the previous drop- today (European customer here).
I expected it to be light pink, like in the picture. But it is different. Fuchsia, maybe? I don't know, it's a deeper pink. Still a vibrant colour, but not as bright as the depicted one.
The knife feels great in the hand. Robust, solid. It says "China" on the blade (did they edit the picture to erase it?) but it certainly does not feel cheap. At least not 11 dollars cheap.
The handle (ok, this feels a little cheaper than the rest of the knife) provides a nice grip and the ergonomics are great.
The pocket clip is tight and sturdy.
The lock works great. It lets me open it with one hand and it snaps right into place to lock the blade when fully open.
But, and it is a big but, the edge is pretty dull. It requires more force to cut than it should be, in my opinion. And it's not like I know a lot about knifes, or that I am a knife collector and I want my knives to be razor sharp. I've heard of a test to see if a knife is really sharp, in which you touch the blade on a hanging piece of paper. Well, I'm holding a piece of paper tight with my left hand (so no hanging), between my index and middle finger on one end and my thumb and last two fingers on the other end, and the knife won't cut it unless I press really REALLY hard. Of course then the paper is torn, but with all that force I used I might as well have done it with my fingernails.
Not that it is a bad knife. I already used it to open a package and it did fine. I also tried it on my hand (which is less smooth than the paper and the blade can "grab" on it more, I guess) and it also did fine *ouch*. It just isn't uber sharp and it needs a little push.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It is really good with most tasks. Now I have to get a sharpener and some WD-40 for maintenance.
UPDATE: I bought some WD-40. The knife needs torx #6 and #8 and it comes apart really easily. The re-assembly can be a little tricky, but this is always the case with anything that comes apart in several pieces.
