I am stunned at how dull this blade is. I opened this with my Cryo II and while the design is comfortable (even without a speed assisted release), I'm actually stunned with the edge from the factory.
I shouldn't have to hone the edge to an appropriate sharpness before I've ever used the blade. $12 purchase or not, this is embarrassing.

Neddogefor me kershaw's sharpening has always been hit or miss, even having much variation within a single model. hope you have a sharpener.

NeddogeMine came reasonably sharp, I have had similar experiences to yours with all of my other Kershaw knives though. Usually take the out of the box and straight to a sharpener.
