A lot of people are comparing the switches but I think that shouldn't be the main focus. I had no problem using the red Kailh switches compared the Cherry. The biggest issue was the quality of the board itself. After months of use it began to show problems that other people were also experiencing. Randoms keys would begin to register multiple inputs with each press making it nearly unusable. After I found out there is no way I could replace the keyboard via Warranty I would definitely reconsider before buying this keyboard.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
