This board is essentially the same as the Drevo Gramr, and similar to the Noppoo Choc Mini. Not to take away from this drop, but if you want one without the side-printed keycaps, detachable cable, lack of backlighting, and don't mind the gaudy font of the Gramr, have a look at that.

MacklinThe amazon listing for the Gramr seems to have white backlighting, but it's set up in a strange way (one of the reviewers said Drevo sent him a file to flash it himself, which ended up fixing the annoyance for him). Otherwise, the price is great (around 40USD). Not sure about what switch brand they are though, some say Outemu, some say they use their own relabeled brand.
Getting a right shift that will fit on this keyboard may be a pain depending on what kind of keycap set you're going for, so the Keycool is still worth it if you don't want to bother with that and are fine with the PBT Dolch that seem to come with the Keycool. The Gramr uses doubleshot ABS.

lostguruHaving both a Keycool Hero 84 and Drevo Gramr 84, I can easily say that the Keycool's build quality vastly surpasses Drevo's, though I can't imagine what the user will be doing with the board for this to really matter.
The Gramr also has an ugly red/black braided cable that is not removeable. Although it has keycaps that melt my eyeballs as well, this is quickly remedied by keycap sets from aliexpress similar to the ones pictured in this drop.
