TylerThat isn't 100% true I just got an email from Kelly saying that half of my order is missing and they cannot find it. I was issued a refund, because half of my order couldn't be sourced. Responsive customer service.. I really wish my order would've went through. I was excited about the 2 pro bundles, but I understand that things happen! Thanks Massdrop support team for the timely resolve of the case of the missing Black on Black Keyport Slide 8+ Pro bundle.. I've already voted for the Keyport to hit the Drop ZONE again...
I'll be back for more Keyports...
Thanks again for the responsive service. I appreciate great service, and great service isn't always a perfect transaction, but it's how all transactions are handled, and when they go bad, communication, and follow are key to keep the clients coming back for more!

The group’s order was picked up from the vendor and is now on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Given the tracking information provided, our warehouse team expects the shipment to come in by 12/24 and will be ready to get the order repacked and off to you as soon as it comes in.
Occasionally the shipment experiences a delay en route, but rest assured that we will keep the group updated throughout the entire process and let you know if something causes it to be set back.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 12/28 or earlier if anything comes up.

You made it happen! We’re excited to let you all know that the drop was successful and the order has now been placed with the vendor for the Keyport Slide 2.0. As soon as they are done preparing the shipment and once we receive it at our warehouse in New Jersey we will break it down into individual orders and have them on their way to each of you! We currently expect your orders to leave our warehouse by 12/23.
Rest assured, throughout the process we’ll do our best to update you all regarding the status of your order and where it’s at along the way. Check back for an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 12/18 .

Can I add a blade to my order? I only need 2 blades in my Keyport, one will be the two common house blades included, the other would be for my USPS post box.
The other blade, I'll really have no use for...

I bought my first two Keyport Slides last Tuesday! Yep the day after Cyber Monday. I'd never even heard of this amazing TECH prior to some online shopping last week. I absolutely couldn't wait, and found the nearest A1 Locksmith in town, called over, asked what they had available, and the clerk stated "only one white and one blue" I immediately left work for my lunch break, and went to the store. The clerk showed me the two Keyports they had, one was the Black & White v2.0 and one was the original very nice looking Blue version v.01. The store manager told me they're over priced at $49.99 just for the Slide, and proceeded to give me several reasons why I shouldn't buy one. He hit one against the counter and made a cap come off, and then tossed it on the ground and the same thing happened. I started to back away, and he continued about how you'll end up losing your keys, and yadda, yadda, yadda. Just for the record no keys fell out… essentially disproving his point... I was so in love with the devices though I told him I didn't care and I wanted them. He acted like he was stunned and said "ok they’re your keys", and I followed that up by asking if he had any blades in stock, I showed him the keys I wanted for the blades and he said he had them so.... I bought them, had him cut them, and I was on my way after about 25 minutes. When I got back to work and assembled everything I was very happy with my purchases, but then continued to search the product online and realized that I was overcharged significantly for the Slides. I was disappointed about what he had done and realized I could have bought them from the factory for $20.00 bucks less a piece. So I searched coupon codes, signed up for the Keyport newsletter, and came across this Massdrop.com. Now I am buying two more “this time getting a great deal and getting the Pro upgrade on both”, one Ice and one Black on Black. I've only known the product for a week and have already spent two hundred and sixty bucks on them. So if there's any value to this, it's that the product is awesome! I love them, and I can't wait to get these two! One last thing -honest truth- when he was ringing me up I think he didn't want me to see the original price and he made a comment about the system being screwy and grabbed a calculator and did the math on a sheet of paper. I could speculate all day long about what he was up to because he had a terrible demeanor and a bad attitude, he was very unfriendly on the phone and very unfriendly in person but I wasn't there for him I was there for my Keyport Slides..

Can you tell me what location, as they have quite a few? I am sure that this is an exception and an isolated event as A-1 has been a Keyport Dealer for a long time and we have never had any issues. ehloThis is usually due to the fact that keys blanks can be different in each country. Keyport can custom convert your keys from outside North America into Blades . Please feel free to contact us directly for more information on international Blades for the Slide.
I really want one of these but these days I can't really use one since I only have 3 keys. I have a chipped honda key and 2 keys for work and one of the keys from work is some special key that needs to be cut by some security company. I also have a HID keyfob, microsd usb reader and the beta QR flashlight. But I am still tempted to buy one, maybe if the drop shows up again when its not around the gift giving holiday.

Hi everyone, We are pleased to have Keyport back on Massdrop! These are a nice option for keeping your keys organized along with a few accessories. We have a two bundles here for you and are able to offer the limited color combos of stealthy Black on Black as well as Red on Black in addition to Ice.

I'm not getting email notifications on this thread even though I have them turned on in settings and just got around to reading all the replies. If you receive a black starter bundle in the mail that would be mine. I'm fine with eating the cost of this drop I'm just not going to spend any more money on it so there isn't a point in holding onto it. It would have been cheaper and faster for me to have just ordered the things I wanted straight from the keyport site. So lets just call it my fault for not doing that in the first place. On another note, Massdrop you need to do something, ANYTHING to make a clear distinction between multiple drops for the same item.
Some potential ideas:
- Draw a line and/or a comment that mentions anything above it was related to another post (make sure any replies to comments above the line stay above it).
- If your back end stores the listings instead of updates the same listing then keep the comments attached to that listing and allow the people that bought into that specific listing access to those comments.
- If you want people to still have access to past comments on new drops maybe add a new tab next to 'Description' and 'Discussion' that says 'Past Discussions' or possibly a sub tab of 'Discussion'. This could be used in conjunction with the first option to break up past discussion threads further.
- You could alternate a comments background color for comments placed on specific drops if you wanted a more subtle approach. Like what you do for employee messages that have a blue background. Alternate from a white background for one listing and a blue for another, and back to white, etc.. Employee messages could have a different color for the employee's name or some other obvious indicator like a border around their image.

This message is for people in the most recent drop (3/18 to 3/26):
First off, we really appreciate Keyport going the extra mile for our customers even though they didn't need to do so.
From previous feedback, we modified the initial drop because we wanted to give more options to the community. We understand there was some confusion because of the comments, but it should be noted that description tab will always supersede any comments on this page, user can say anything and if you are confused, please send a message to support@massdrop.com or if there is a Verified Vendor monitoring the page, please direct questions to them. We want preserve the comments from previous drop because there is useful information.
That being said, Keyport has excellent customer support and we really like working with them.
