This has to be the dumbest invention for new generation of the dumbest consumers. How long does it take you to find a god damned correct key in this contraption?

I would like to know why is this so expensive???
There are two screws and two aluminum plates and for two pieces we have to shell out $40. Huh...
If somone can make almost the same product for $1.50 why is this procudt 10 times more expensive?

We only talking about a key organizer here nothing more really. Just imagine for the price of one key smart you can have ten key organizers with the same two metal screws and two aluminum plates that you can change every three months if you wish. Also, if you read feedback about the key smart key orgainiser, four out of five failed within the first year of use. Most of those branded product made in the same factories and unbranded. I wouldn't buy it if that was some electronic product as a custom iem, or a cellphone etc.

VAS007I seriously doubt this 4 out of 5 failing crap. Like literally everywhere this thing is sold it has almost 5 star reviews. Even barring some fake reviews which their might not even be you are telling me that even with like a 4.7 star average out of thousands of reviews that over 80% fail? Come on.
If you want to buy junk direct from China so be it but even simple things can be made like crap. Heck these things selling on eBay could be the rejects from this same product for all we know. But even so my final sentence in my first response is still true. If you are willing to deal with all that bullcrap then have at it and buy one off eBay for a dollar and wait 3 months to hope you don't have a dud. Or better yet maybe spend 5 bucks and get 5 of them to increase your chances.

Own one of these. It would be a kick ass product if they included a tiny squib full of loctite. Or if it had a fiber washer, or ring or some other method of keeping it from devolving in your pocket. When it works 5 days out of the week, it keeps your keys from sprawling out in your pocket. Which is great if you carry your wallet and keys in your front pocket!
Also, if they used longer T bolts with more thread it would be more applicable to those of us with a ton of keys. The pictures make it seem that you can get 10 keys installed. Not sure where they get their keys from but mine fit maybe 6 or 8.

Can't say how many times this thing has fallen apart in my pocket and I've tightened everything very well yet it still falls apart. Ive lost keys because of this. I do NOT recommend wasting your money on this.

I don't get it, MD drops the price by $7 but basically charging double the cost for the add-ons compared to Keysmarts website

I've found that the keys are more easily lost with this gadget. I can't count the number of times this has slipped out of my jeans pocket while sitting on a friend's couch, or at a bar. Highly recommend a way to fasten this to your belt loop if you're considering having one.

Woot has them for$24.99 now. But that price is for the "Rugged" version or the 4 piece "extended" that is the regular key smart with usb and a few other options.
