Hello, I just want to make sure I understand the color choices for the frames. One picture appears to give a turquoise tint to the arms, whilst another looks clear. Are the options for sale sans the turquoise arm color? Thank you!

I ordered these because I sit in front of a computer all day for work. They absolutely are worth the price. They are lightweight, comfortable and help with combating eye fatigue. Its did take some getting used too, but now I cant work without them

SarahMarieWere the glasses you received non-prescription lenses?

Yes. I got the non prescription. I use them exclusively at my job, where I sit in front of a computer all day. Using them has reduced my eye fatigue and helped with occasional migraines I would get. Plus the lenses do not have any tint to them, which makes them look like regular glasses

Hi there! Unfortunately, we cannot provide prescription lenses via massdrop. The options are non-rx blue blocking lenses or clear plastic lenses, which can be replaced with prescription lenses from your optometrist. Hope that helps!

Sorry about the confusion. Massdrop uses the term “rx-able” for all their eyewear drops to indicate that the frame can be used for prescription lenses. This would mean you take the frame to your optometrist and have them put in rx lenses for you. Hope that helps!

Great to see these pair on sale. I have this style but regret not getting the blue light blocking lenses as they are totally worth it. I work in front of the computer every day and need the extra protection. Will definitely take advantage of the promotion.

JohnnyCreditHi there, thanks for the question! The frames are hand-made in China using the Italian acetate we previously described in another comment. The lenses are made in Japan by one of the leading innovators in high-index lens technology and are supplied by a lab based in Vancouver, Canada. Hope that helps. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!

I have a different pair of Kingsley frames with the blue-light blocking lenses. They make such a huge difference for me as I spend a lot of time in front of screens all day. Highly recommend these lenses!

I googled Mazzucchelli acetate frame and the result are just horrible. This material ( Mazzucchelli acetate frame ) is in every cheap brands and glasses and if someone could enlighten me with what I am missing here, please do. This is a perfect size and style for me. Thanks

JuanStepI would say otherwise as i own a few pairs of Kingsley and find them to be more sturdy than other brands I own. I wear my eyewear daily with a clip on shade when it is sunny, so you can imagine the amount of bending and maneuvering I do with these.

JuanStepThanks for the comment! You are very right that many brands use Mazzucchelli acetate in their glasses. The truth is that, even in a very reputable brand like Mazzucchelli, there are a variety of options in colour, type, quality of products that are available. In general, though, you will see that Mazzucchelli is the most highly regarded manufacturer of acetate in the world. We are very proud to work directly with Mazzucchelli and hand pick the exact acetate we want to use in our frames. What you will notice with our frames (and any frame that uses high quality acetate) is that the acetate is sturdy, yet very comfortable, and does not warp easily over time. In addition to using high quality acetate, our frames are also hand made and we use 5-barrel hinges . This makes the hinges (and the frame overall) more durable. We're glad to hear you like the style of the frame. We hope you love them!
