This router sucks, I have one of those from the kickstarter...
Don't expect to much from that price.
Only configurable over the app.

chickenduyYou didn't finish your sentence. "This router sucks [because ...]"
"... I experienced issues getting it configured, including [usability, finding a location for it, etc]."
"... it would frequently disconnect my devices."
"... I experienced poor speeds when using it."
"... it wouldn't let me [set custom DNS servers, connect to my cable modem, etc]."
JadoJodo"... it is network over powerlines and my home was built after 1980 so it does not work with a circuit breaker."
IP over power barely gets me 10Mbs when right off the modem I get 250Mbs, so I wonder if this is part of his issue.
chickenduyIt's adifferent product. It's kisslink Pro router on kickstarter, highlight KISS connection. This one is Mesh WiFi system, Mesh network from Mesh points.
WilliamBaoThe kickstarter project is for the kisslink Pro router. As a kickstarter backer I got also got the Kisslink one. So I had both running for a while.
So here are my problems with this:
1. It is only configurable over the App, which just looks so low quality.
2. It often takes a number of tries to get into the router because it somehow says "the connection is not stable", which is the default alert for every problem.
3. This also has some connection issues with friends logging into your wifi, where it beeps once to confirm connection. There is a 50/50 chance that you experience a bug, that when those friends are disconnecting from your wifi and reconnecting it beeps again. (I'm currently using it in my dorm and ohhh god... I had that happen for 2 hours several times).
4. There are very limited options for configuration. You can't disable guest access to your router. The only thing you can do, is hide your guest SSID...
There are a lot of problems for this router. I'm just stating my experience and opinion. I think you would be better served with another mesh wifi router (unfortunately they are not cheap).
PS: I'm only using one single router, so not as a mesh wifi network (I'm just inferring that if one router has that problem, a more complex network of more mesh nodes has more problems including those.)
